The linked resorts are centred about Akakura village, where most of the accommodation is situated. Myoko Kogen is also well known for its rich history, culture and traditional Japanese onsens.
Myoko Kogen is centred around Akakura Onsen which is home to multiple ski hire shops and specialist stores so you are definitely in good hands if you aren't bringing skis or boards.
